JOSEPH ZIMMER
Cassandra Leigh Cope and Joseph Andrew Zimmer were married October 21, 2017 at Callaway Winery in Temecula, California. Cassie is the daughter of Richard and Rebecca Cope of Gaylord, Michigan. Joseph is the son of Jonathan and Linda Zimmer, formerly of Pittsburgh, and now residing in Peoria, Arizona.
Cassie graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University and earned a Master's degree in Urban Education and Administration from Loyola Marymount University. Two years ago, she created KIPP Ignite Academy, a charter school in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, where she currently serves as Founding School Leader.
Joe earned a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from Penn State University. He is Vice President, Sales at 24Hr HomeCare based in Los Angeles. Cassie and Joe are both long distance runners.
After their honeymoon in Italy, the couple will reside in Manhattan Beach, California.
